Alas, Halloween Activities!

We are very excited for Halloween here in the Phipps' home! We always start the season off by filling up our "seasonal basket":

This basket displays all of our Halloween/Fall craft materials for our activity time or whenever boredom strikes. I kept a lot of loot from last year so our basket is extra full this year.

I usually go to JoAnne's and buy their seasonal stickers, pom poms, and little craft boxes full of easy and quick activities.

Fabric, buttons, and fake spiders. Oh the fun things you can do with fake spiders.

 This year I included face paints which made for a nice activity one afternoon while I was doing dishes.

I gave them permission to paint each other and when I turned around, this is what I saw!

We also tried something new this year: Halloween lights in the girls' bedroom! The lights are actually orange but it's hard to see in this picture. Boy, I love October. More Halloween activities to come.
