In my church, there's a General Conference that takes place twice a year where our prophet and his apostles speak to the entire church. When you are little, four hours of listening to someone speaking on TV can stretch on for an eternity. So here's what my three year old did to pass the time today (while still staying somewhat focused on the prophet...)
Using these magazines, she cut out pictures and pasted them into her "General Conference" book. It actually kept her busy for two hours. Lovely project. They can do any theme...pictures of Jesus Christ or things that remind them to do good things. It's bound to work for at least part of conference and keep them focused on a positive topic.
(Oh yeah, and she was wearing her bumble bee Halloween costume which just made the day that much more exciting.)
Let me know your conference ideas!
